Pen Dinas

SPILL RETURNS TO FORM

Sixteen-year-old John Spill, who disappeared from the scene after a couple of highly successful years, came back with a bang to win the Ras Pen Dinas, the third and possibly toughest race in the Tuesday night series of fell-races.

 The former Menai athlete set a new under-18s' record and was only 20 seconds outside the course record.

 Other age-group records fell to Jenny Heming (L40) and Don Williams (M70).
