ANOTHER CAPITAL SHOW FROM IOLO
After a brilliant cross-country season Menai's Iolo Hughes turned it on again in the London Mini Marathon, finishing second in the under-17s' race and just one second behind winner Zak Miller in 14.28.
His sister Cari came fifth in the under-15s' race in 17.18 and in the same event Lily Davis (Deeside) was 16th in 19.14.
In the under-15s' competition Matthew Willis, representing North West Schools, again got the better of his Wrexham clubmate Christian Smith. Willis was 21st in 15.45, with Smith four places behind in 15.57. Cai Linton-Davies (Menai) was 8th in 16.19.
