PLENTY OF CHOICE
It's that time of year again when almost every village show and fete has a race among its attractions.
This Saturday (26th) the Push up the Pincyn fell-race takes place in Clawddnewydd, near Ruthin, but there is no junior race this time. On the same day is the Llanfair TH 10k which, although all road, includes the stiff climb up Moel Unben, while the Dolgellau 5 usually produces fast times.
On Saturday is the Elidir mountain race and on July 30 the multi-terrain Aberdaron race takes place along the lanes and paths at the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula. In addition to the eight-miler there are children's races.
