SHARPE GETS EUROPEAN SILVER
Lydia Sharpe (Eryri/Gateshead) was a member of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland junior women's team which won silver at the European Mountain-Running Championships in Gap, France.
On a 4.25k up-and-down course she finished 23rd overall. It was the GB's only team success, the junior men finishing just five points outside bronze medal place.
