VETS DOMINATE IN CLAWDD - AND JOY FOR JAYNE
When it came to tackling the heat at the annual Push Up The Pincyn race in Clawddnewydd experience was clearly a key factor as the first five finishers were all veterans.
After a battle with course record-holder Jez Brown Gareth Briggs (Staffs Moorland) held on to win by two minutes, while Helsby's Jayne Joy, after a fine run on Snowdon last week, was in a class of her own.
She finished sixth overall......and her prize? A bottle of toilet duck!
