Ysgol John Bright pupil Nathan Thomason played a captain's role in the Schools' International meeting in Cardiff, claiming silver in both the shot and hammer.
The only other North Wales medallist was Cari Hughes (David Hughes), who came second in the 800m in 2-10.81.
Amber Rimmington (Flint High) just missed gaining podium places in both the discus and hammer with Christian Smith (Darland) fifth in the 3,000 metres in 9-06.84, and Abigail Bowers (Welshpool) was also fourth in the 300m hurdles.
