STEVE SKATES UPHILL TO VICTORY
In the traditional conditions of rain and mist Prestatyn's recent recruit Steve Skates won the annual Ponderosa race on the Horseshoe Pass, finishing just 12 seconds ahead of Dominic Jones (Mercia) .
In a good field of 82 finishers the first woman home was Chester Tri veteran Susan Fourie.
