STRONG ENGLAND SQUAD FOR BETWS
England have named a very strong squad for the home countries international at Betws-y-Coed on August 22, which is incorporated in the third race of the British mountain-running championship.
Leading the senior men's team are Ben Mounsey and Tom Adams who came third and fifth respectively in last month's Snowdon race.
Emma Clayton (Leeds), who came third in the European mountain-running championship, is joined by Katie Walshaw , Annie Conway and the highly experienced Victoria Wilkinson.
The full squad is:- Men, A team: Tom Adams, Simon Bailey, Ben Mounsey, Ch ris Smith. U23 - William Buswell, Tom Saville. Men, B team: Chris Farrell, Steve Hebblethwaite, Will Neill, Gary Priestley.
Women, A team: Emma Clayton, Annie Conway, Katie Walshaw, Victoria Wilkinson. U23 - Caroline Lambert, Sally Ratcliffe. Women, B t am: Emmie Collinge, Rebecca Hilland, Hannah Horsburgh, Becky Plenty. U23 - Zara Knappy.
