Wrexham's Daniel Weston made a rare but successful venture into the world of ultra-distance at the weekend, finishing third in the 50-mile Thames Trot race in Iffley, Oxford. His time was 6-10.31.
In the same event - her first attempt at an ultra - was his clubmate Jackie Hislop, who clocked 10-50.26.
