ALEXANDER SECOND IN AGE-GROUP
Several athletes familiar on the North Wales scene figured prominently in the final race of the Manchester Area Cross-Country League in Wythenshawe Park.
Thrirteenth overall and 11th senior man was Bangor Student Callum Rowlinson (Sale), and two places behind him was Damian Nicholls (Wilmslow), winner of the recent Nick Beer 10k.
Third in the M45 class on the day was David Alexander (West Cheshire) but he finished second in the class over the five fixtures, a week after winning the category in the Grand Prix Express North Wales League.
