LONGLEY EXTENDS HIS GOOD FORM
Prestatyn's Dean Longley was the first North Wales finisher in the Alsager 5, finishing 38th overall in 26.41.
The first woman was veteran Olympian Helen Clitheroe in 27.24, with Alison Lavender (Oswestry) fourth less than 24 hours after winning Saturday's cross-country in Lilleshall.
Among other North Wales results were: 69 John E Morris (Denbigh) 28.30, 77 Simon Roberts (Buckley) 28.49, 90 Craig Davies (Deestriders) 29.14, 90 Emma Crowe (Wrex) 29. 58.
