Inter-regional 10k

MILLS SETS NEW PB IN CAERPHILLY

Former Wrexham athlete James Mills set a new pb of 32.28 in coming fifth in the Caerphilly 10k, which incorporated the Welsh inter-regional championships. The race was won in 31.22 by Owain Jones (Bristol and West)

 Only two seconds behind Mills was Salford's Christian Prior, making his debut for the North Wales team.

 Other North Wales results were: 22 Tomos Roberts (Meir) 34.46, 27 Harvey Wharton (Cybi) 35.01, 54 Darren Blazier (Abergele) 36.53, 70 Andrew Campbell (Wrecsam Tri) 38.00, 75 Jodie Waters (Abergele) 38.14, 86 Andrew Edwards (Cybi) 38.54, 106 Helen Davies (Wrecsam Tri) 9.47, 108 Jay Jennions (Deestriders) 39.55, 189 Tracey Llewellyn (Cybi) 42.51, 226 Emma Collins (Denbigh) 43.57, 281 Helen McArthur (CB) 45.17, 338 Abbie Cheetham (Prestatyn) 46.25, 441 Amie Bagnall (Prestatyn) 48.28.
