BRILLIANT PB FOR DAVIES
Welsh international Andrew Davies (Stockport) took almost a minute off his pb in coming 38th overall in the Berlin Marathon.
In qualifying for the Commonwealth Games he clocked 2-17.51 but in a high-quality field in Berlin he finished in 2-16.55.
Among other placings were: 246 Paul Jones (Oswestry, M45) 2-37.10, 485 Richard Roberts (Eryri) 2-45.23, 809 Jon Bowie (Trismart, Mercia) 2-51.41, 1,888 Chris Yorke (NWRR) 3-01.26, 13,426 Nicholas Brook (Eryri) 4-29.01.
