Sale veteran Paul Green retained his title in the Abersoch half-marathon to take the £300 first prize.
His time of 73.25 was just four seconds outside the course record held by Eryri's Alun Vaughan but well outside his own pb of 65 mins set in Wilmslow 10 years ago.
First woman home, in 90.37, was triathlete Rhian Roxburgh (GOG) who also went home with £300.
