INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL TAKE PLACE
The North Wales indoor track and field championships will once again be held this winter.
Problems over the surface of the start area of the track at the Indoor Centre in Kelsterton have restricted its use but officials have now agreed that the facility can be used by moving the start-line one metre forward, even though it reduces the run-off area.
The meeting will take place on February1st, 2014.
Some people had suggested that the regional championships be held in Manchester's Sportcity but the cost of hiring the arena would have been prohibitive.
