HULSON LEADS GB HOME
Charlie Hulson (Sale) from Rhosesmor turned on the style to be Great Britain and Northern Ireland's first finisher in the World Cross-Country Championships in China.
The former Deeside athlete was 54th overall, and was followed by Welsh champion Dewi Griffiths (68th), England's Johnny Hay (83rd) and Scottish champion Andy Butchart (85th), who beat Hulson in the UK inter-counties' championships in Birmingham.
The senior men finished 15th overall in a competition dominated as usual by the Kenyans and Ethiopians.
