BENTLEY CRUISES UP THE HILLS

After Dean Longley's first Borders League win in Prestatyn two weeks earlier Russell Bentley (Eryri) also claimed his first on his League debut at Mold.

 In second place was Deeside's second-claimer Ricky Challinor, with Daniel Weston (Wrexham) third and Longley fourth. With two races to go Weston now leads the overall table, with Longley second.

 Teenager Emily Kearney (Wirral) claimed her third consecutive win, with her mother Sarah coming in behind her.

 Wallasey strengthened their position at the  top of Division 1, with West Cheshire and Helsby battling for promotion from Division 2.

 Marilyn Kitching made another comeback for Tattenhall, boosting their chances of taking the Division 1 title.
