A Fortune in Gold

 FORTUNE IN GOLD IN BRAZIL

Deeside athlete Sabrina Fortune will be hoping that her trip to Brazil will be a sign of things to come in 2016.

The 17-year-old Coleg Cambria student took gold in the shot putt at the Paralympic school games in Sao Paulo, Brazil, boosting her hopes of returning to South America for the Olympics in Rio.

Sabrina, who suffers from dyspraxia, a speech impediment which led to minor learning difficulties, will be hoping to emulate Beverley Jones, from Mancot, who gained bronze in the London Olympics.
