World record in Wrexham

RILEY SETS WORLD BEST AT WREXHAM

Finishing 69th overall in the Helena Tipping 10k was an outstanding feat for Lee Riley - for the former Royal Marine was carrying a 40lb pack on his back.

His time of 41.24 sliced 4m 40s off the world record for the feat and means that Lee, from the City of Stoke club, now holds the records for every distance from 400m to the marathon. He is the first person to hold all the records at the same time.
