ERYRI SUCCESSES IN TRAIL CHAMPS
Alun Vaughan and Andrea Rowlands made it a double success for Eryri Harriers in the Welsh Trail Marathon championships in Coed y Brenin.
Vaughan, who won the Welsh marathon title in London, finished in 2-59.15, over four minutes clear of runner-up Andrew Siggers (Kenilworth), with Richard Roberts (Eryri) third in 3-04.26. Rowlands took the ladies' title in 3-30.05.
The Gwynedd club also claimed victory in the half-marathon trail championship through Rob Samuel. He won in 1-23.03, with Aberystwyth's Felipe Jones second in 1-25.32.
First M40 was John Ford (NWRR) in 1-33.00, with Arwel Lewis (Eryri) first M50 in 1-42.22.
