Deniolen 10k

VISITORS STEAL THE SHOW

Two visitors dominated proceedings in the Deiniolen 10k, one of the toughest in North Wales which includes two testing climbs.

First home was Ryan Parker (Bedford and County) in the remarkable time of 33.33, with Philip Cooper (Hallamshire) second in 35.57.

Twenty-four-year-old Parker has some pedigree, having come second in this year's Bedfordshire cross-country championships and he is a former AAA 1,500m champion.

Cooper, too, has been in good form, coming second in last Saturday's Penrhyn Parkrun behind teenager John Spill.
