Trailfest Half-Marathon

GILLING WINS FIRST TRAIL HALF

The long hike to North Wales paid off  for Wells City veteran Jonathan Gilling when he won the inaugural Trailfest half-marathon from Blaenau Ffestiniog to Porthmadog.

 Though largely downhill the race included some tough climbs through the forests near Rhyd and Penrhyndeudraeth before the finish along the Cob.
